| Welcome to the Novato Summer Music Institute! |
The Novato Summer Music Institute (N.S.M.I.) is a set of day classes designed
for students who want to experience music during the summer. A variety of
courses will be offered to allow students to learn and grow as musicians.
Held at Sinaloa Middle School in Novato, the N.S.M.I. brings elementary,
middle and high school students together from all over Marin County for 3
weeks of intensive music study and recreation.
Students will be grouped by age and experience level in a variety of band, jazz,
choral and orchestral classes. Featuring everything from drum classes to show
