Jazz Choir is an advanced vocal group that meets before school at 7:15 on Mondays,
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The students study advanced vocal technique and jazz
improvisation. Students must audition to be part of Jazz Choir. Our 2005-2006 Jazz Choir
was selected for an Outstanding Instrumental Performance Award by Downbeat
Magazine in a nation wide competition!
Our Jazz Choir was also the only middle school jazz choir chosen to perform at the
Monterey Jazz Festival Next Generation Festival.
